Tulsa, OK – A large grass fire burns several acres near 36th street north and Highway 169. It is believed the Sunday night blaze may have been started by a downed power line in the area.
Thick black smoke was spotted by travelers on the highway around 8 p.m. The Red Cross was called out to assist fire fighters with hydration. At the time of the blaze the temperature was in the upper 90s.
No one was injured.
