Judges Get Death Threats

Muskogee, OK – Police probe threats against judges

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) Muskogee police are searching for a man who called police and threatened two local judges.

Police Lt. Bobby Lee says a male caller phoned the department's investigations unit and accused one of the judges of stalking him. Lee says the caller then threatened the lives of both judges.

Lee didn't identify the judges, but says both were advised of the threat against them. Lee says the district attorney's office and sheriff's department also were made aware of the threats.
