Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa County Jail has received almost $7-million in grants for holding immigration violators who have committed other crimes.
The sheriff says his department's work is bolstering ties with Tulsa growing Hispanic community. He says it has also lowered Tulsa County's overall crime rate.
