Highway Patrol Breaking Ground on Headquarters

PERRY, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is holding a groundbreaking ceremony Friday for a new headquarters for Troop K.

The $1.2 million project is expected to be completed in July 2014. The 4,000-square-foot building will be equipped with classrooms and other equipment for law enforcement training.

The groundbreaking ceremony is set for 10 a.m. at 2609 West U.S. Highway 77.
