The Hermitage Trio on Performance Oklahoma

Chamber Music in Oklahoma presented the first concert of the new season on Sunday, October 6th at Christ the King Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.  Descending from the great Russian musical tradition, the Trio is distinguished by its exuberant musicality, interpretative range, and sumptuous sound and is made up of three musicians with noted solo careers; violinist MishaKeylin, cellist Sergey Antonov and pianist Maxim Mogilevsky.

The Founders Concert, marking Chamber Music in Oklahoma's 54th season offered an all Russian program featuring Piano Trio No. 1 in c minor, Op 8 by DmitriShostakovich, the Trio No. 1 in d minor, Op 32 by Anton Arensky and the Piano Trio No. 2 in d minor, Op 9 "Trio Elégiaque" of Sergei Rachmaninov.
