Helping Children Who Face Sensory Processing Issues

Tulsa, Oklahoma – On our show today, we present an interesting conversation with Lindsey Biel, a New York City-based pediatric occupational therapist and the co-author of "Raising a Sensory Smart Child: The Definite Handbook for Helping Your Child with Sensory Processing Issues." This comprehensive, widely praised, and award-winning guidebook has just been published in a newly updated and expanded edition. As Biel tells our host Rich Fisher, sensory integration dysfunction, also known as sensory processing disorder, can and does affect all kinds of children --- from those with developmental delays, or attention problems, or autism-related disorders, to those without any other issues.
