Tulsa, OK – angerous heat forecast in parts of Okla., Ark.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The National Weather Service says dangerous heat is expected in parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas.

The weather service has issued an excessive heat warning through 7 p.m. Sunday for parts of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Okmulgee, Wagoner, Tulsa, Rogers, Mayes, Washington, Craig, Nowata, Sequoyah, McIntosh, Muskogee, Le Flore, Latimer and Haskell counties in Oklahoma and Crawford, Sebastian and Franklin counties in Arkansas are affected.

Heat indices of 110 to 115 degrees are forecast.

Heat advisories are in effect for most of the remainder of both states through Sunday.
