Girl, 15, Arrested at Oklahoma City Cchool

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities say a 15-year-old student was arrested after she allegedly attacked a faculty member at an Oklahoma City school.

Police say the incident happened Wednesday at Seeworth Academy. Oklahoma City television station KWTV reports that the student allegedly attacked the assistant vice principal at the school.

According to police, the altercation occurred after the vice principal asked her to put away her cell phone. A police report says the student kicked the vice principal, then fought with a security guard who attempted to restrain her.

The girl was arrested on complaints of assault and battery. Her name wasn't released because of her age.
