Gift Shop Robbed After Event

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — Officials are searching for the person who robbed the gift shop at Woolaroc in northeastern Oklahoma.

Woolaroc Chief Executive Officer Bob Frazier tells Bartlesville radio station KRIG that the robbery happened shortly before closing Sunday night at the Woolaroc gift shop.

Officials say a man threatened an employee with a gun and ordered her to the ground. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Frazier says anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Bartlesville Police Department.

Woolaroc is a ranch, museum and wildlife preserve in the Osage Hills of northeastern Oklahoma. Its name is derived from three words — woods, lakes and rocks. The site is known for its Wonderland of Lights display each December.
