Gaming at the Convention Center?

Tulsa, OK – The ribbon is cut and the doors swing open it is an amazing sight. There are hundreds of slot machines, but this is not an Oklahoma Casino. This is actually the Tulsa Convention Center.

This week the center played host to the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association. David Qualls is the Association's Chairman. We all know that Indian Gaming is big in Oklahoma . But this fact may come as a surprise. Oklahoma is the number three gaming market in the nation.

Qualls says Indian gaming has become crucial to Oklahoma's economy, even in down times. That makes it one of the few state's funding streams that is actually ticking
