Funerals Set for Tulsa Men Killed in Plane Crash

WSBT- South Bend

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Memorial services are planned for Monday for the two Oklahoma men who died after their plane crashed into an Indiana neighborhood.

Former Oklahoma quarterback Steve Davis and Tulsa businessman Wes Caves died in the March 17 plane crash. Two others on the plane were injured along with one person on the ground.

Separate services are planned for 1 p.m. Monday. Davis' funeral will be held at First Baptist Church in Tulsa, while Caves' memorial will be held at First Baptist Church in Jenks.

Federal investigators say the plane attempted to land twice at South Bend Regional Airport before crashing into a neighborhood.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
