Freezing Fog Advisory Until 11 a.m.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Much of Oklahoma is under a freezing fog advisory but forecasters predict temperatures to warm up later in the day.

The National Weather Service issued the freezing fog advisory for the eastern two-thirds of the state until mid-morning Thursday. Forecasters say a thin glaze of ice could form on bridges and overpasses.

In the Tulsa area, the advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. Visibility will range from a half-mile to 2 miles.

Temperatures will warm up once the fog lifts. Forecasters say most areas in Oklahoma will see high temperatures in the 50s on Thursday.
