Free Yard Waste Pickup Ending Friday

The three month free collection of yard waste is coming to an end. As part of the launch of the new trash collection system, yard waste…leaves, grass clippings, and the like…was picked up free. Liz Hunt with the city of Tulsa says that’s ending as of this Friday, February 1st.

The green waste sticker sheets are 2-dollars-50-cents, so it will cost you to dispose of bags outside trash containers. Hunt reminds that yard waste must be in transparent bags so contents can be verified.
