Free Landfill Days This Weekend

The Fall Free Landfill Event for Tulsans is this weekend. Quarry Landfill on 46th Street North will be open Saturday and Sunday to dump unwanted items free of charge. Liz Hunt with the City of Tulsa says you should secure your load and cover it so items don’t blow out onto roadways.

Items like air conditioners containing Freon aren’t allowed, and there is a charge for discarded tires.

The free dump hours are 7 a-m to 3 p-m Saturday and Sunday. You need a city of Tulsa utility bill or some identification with a Tulsa address to show you are eligible to use the landfill for free.
