En id, OK – Candidates for governor set for Enid forum

ENID, Okla. (AP) All six candidates for Oklahoma governor are expected to participate in a gubernatorial forum in Enid.

The nonpartisan, public policy group The Oklahoma Academy will host the forum at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Autry Technology Center in Enid. It's one of several forums hosted by the group, but the first for which all six candidates are scheduled to attend.

Organizers say Republicans Mary Fallin, Randy Brogdon, Roger Jackson and Robert Hubbard, along with Democrats Jari Askins and Drew Edmondson all have confirmed they will attend.

The six candidates are seeking to replace Democratic Gov. Brad Henry, who cannot seek a third consecutive term.

The primary election will be held July 27.
