Former TPS Athletic Director Facing Federal Charge

Former Tulsa Public Schools Athletic Director Stephanie Spring is now facing federal charges. She is accused of renting school facilities and then pocketing the money.

Spring, resigned last year as the school district’s AD after allegations surfaced. Spring is to appear in Tulsa Federal Court for arraignment on February 12th.

The charge does not say how much money was taken, but that it was in excess of $5,000. It also indicates the embezzlement happened in 2011.
