Oklahoma City, OK – Lawsuit: Charity leader took bribes, hid porn

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Feed The Children says the charity's ex-president took bribes, hid hard-core pornographic magazines and committed other misdeeds.

The charity is making the allegations in a countersuit filed against 69-year-old Larry Jones, who filed a wrongful-termination lawsuit against Feed The Children and its board of directors on Nov. 10, four days after he was fired.

Jones told The Oklahoman in a copyrighted story that he denies the allegations in the countersuit, calling them "trumped-up charges" in an attempt to build a case against him.

Jones and his wife, Frances, founded the charity in 1979 and the organization has reported raising more than $1 billion in cash and gifts annually. But recently, he and charity executives have been locked in a power struggle that has resulted in lawsuits and firings.
