TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a 21-year-old Oklahoma man is dead after he was run over on U.S. 169 in Tulsa County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the collision happened at about 2 a.m. Monday on U.S. 169 north of 56th Street. Authorities say James Allman of Collinsville apparently pulled over on the highway, left his vehicle and lay down in the southbound lane of traffic.
Authorities say he was then struck and killed by an unknown vehicle.
The highway patrol says the death remains under investigation.
