Fatal Fire Near Salina

SALINA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say one person was found dead after a house fire in eastern Oklahoma.

Responders from Kenwood and Salina received a call at about 5 a.m. Wednesday about a fire in Mayes County.

The sheriff's office says one man was found dead and a second person was injured in the fire.

The house is located east of Salina. The state fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
