Claremore, OK – Okla. man charged in traffic deaths of father, son

CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) Rogers County prosecutors have charged an 18-year-old Claremore man with two counts of first-degree manslaughter in the deaths of a man and his infant son last month.

Keaton Hannah didn't enter a plea during an appearance in court on Wednesday. A hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 17.

Authorities allege Hannah was trying to leave the scene of a minor accident when he drove the wrong way on Oklahoma Highway 66 near Verdigris June 17. His vehicle collided with a sport utility vehicle, killing Eric Watkins and his 7-month-old son, Bryor. Watkins' wife, Ginger, was hospitalized and released.

Court records didn't indicate whether Hannah has retained an attorney to represent him.

Hannah's youth pastor, Jeremy Donovan, told KOTV that Hannah has a good heart and is hurting for the family.
