Muskogee, OK – Woman killed, toddler injured in Muskogee crash

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) Police say a 24-year-old Porter woman is dead and a 3-year-old boy riding in her car is recovering from injuries he suffered in a traffic accident at Muskogee.

An accident report identified the woman killed in the crash Saturday as Cassandra Jade Edgar. The report said she was not wearing a seat belt when her car collided with an SUV at the intersection of U.S. 69 and a county road.

According to the report, Edgar was airlifted to a Tulsa hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The 3-year-old passenger was taken by ambulance to a hospital in critical condition.

The report said a 52-year-old woman and two teenage girls traveling in the SUV were treated at an area hospital and released. According to the report, all three were buckled in.
