Fake Health Worker Robbing in Muskogee

By AP

Muskogee, OK – (Information in the following story is from: KJRH-TV, http://www.kjrh.com)

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) Police in Muskogee are looking for a woman who poses as a home health worker and robs people of money and prescription medicine.

Muskogee police told Tulsa television station KJRH that the woman has hit five homes in the past week.

Police say the woman tries to distract residents by asking to use the bathroom or get a glass of water. Police say they are concerned that a victim will recognize the fraud and confront the suspect, with someone getting hurt as a result.

Officers describe the suspect as white, in her early 30s, with brown hair. She has worn brown pants and a brown shirt, and has driven an older blue pickup.
