Edmond, OK – Police arrested 34-year-old Dale Bradley Jefferson after finding and confiscating nearly 800 pounds of marijuana on Monday.
Police were simply responding to an assault complaint when they found the marijuana, one of the largest busts in Edmond's history. They said the marijuana had a street value of almost $500,000.
Investigators also confiscated four assault weapons, nine rifles, four pistols, and a bullet-resistant vest.
Jefferson had a prior felony conviction out of Sebastian County, Arkansas, officials say, and he was released from jail Tuesday on $104,500 bail. It was not clear if he had an attorney.
