East Tulsa Shooting

Tulsa, Okla. – Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting that happened this morning at 12809 East 23rd Street.

An unknown subject walked up to and shot two individuals, brothers, who were standing outside.

Police have interviewed witnesses, but are still waiting to interview the victims, who are in the hospital. The suspect's motive is still unknown at this time.

"We really don't have an idea of why it happened and what caused it to happen," said Tulsa Police public information officer Jason Willingham.

He described the suspect as "a white male, or possibly a light-skinned black male, approximately 5' 9", 160 pounds, who was last seen running northbound after the shooting."
