John Eagleton lays out his case

By KWGS News

Tulsa, OK – Tulsa City Councilor John Eagleton ticks off why he is ticked-off at Mayor Bartlett. Eagleton is calling for the mayor's ouster. Rather than seek a recall, Eagleton is asked the Governor to have the Attorney General review the allegations.

Eagleton accuses the mayor of:

Lying to the City Council
Having his staff lie to the Council
Soliciting citizens to sue the City Council
Trying to force the resignation of City Council Attorney Drew Rees
Accepting a $7,000 reimbursement from the Tulsa Community Foundation that bypassed the City Council
Using city money to have business cards printed for his wife, who heads up the administration's mentoring program.
Failed to attend meetings on board and commissions of which he is a member.

The mayor is on an economic development trip to Florida and was not at the meeting. The presentation had been scheduled on Tuesday, but was moved to today.
