Downtown Tulsa PETA Protest

By KWGS

Tulsa, OK –
A couple, in their underwear, hug and kiss on an inflatable mattress at a downtown Tulsa street corner. Passers-by do double takes and snap pictures with their cell-phones. It's a protest by members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Spokesperson Tracy Potter says the protest has a Valentine's Day connection, claiming those who don't eat meat make better lovers and she says statistics back up the claim that vegans have fewer problems that interfere in the bedroom.

The street corner underwear protests are being held at many cities across the country as part of a pre-Valentine's Day campaign.
