DOC Asks for $35 million

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – The board that oversees the Oklahoma prison system says it needs nearly $35 million more to operate the state's penitentiaries. The state Board of Corrections voted Friday to ask the Legislature for the additional money as a budget supplement.
