Tulsa, Okla. – City Council is refusing to mediate with the Mayor. At yesterday's meeting the Council voted against closed-door mediation as a way to confront its disputes with Mayor Bartlett.

Instead it suggested a series of public sessions for negotiating with the Mayor, in order to promote transparency.

The Mayor was disappointed with the Council's decision, and hopes to be able to convince councilors Bynum and Eagleton, who were the sole votes in favor of the Mayor's offer, to engage in mediation.
