Tulsa, OK – The City Council's probe into the Mayor's office may not be finished after all.
On tomorrow's city council agenda is a resolution waiving a conflict of interest in the city attorney's office. That would allow her to appoint a special prosecutor to review the case against Mayor Bartlett and his chief of staff Terry Simonson. They have been accused of misleading the council over the use of a federal grant to re-hire police officers.
Most had believed the matter to be settled when the Attorney General's office refused to intervene.
