Broken Arrow, OK – The Broken Arrow City Council hears pleas from residents wanting help in stopping a casino. A branch of the Creek Nation is building the casino on Indian land at 129th East and 111th Street South.

The Council says it can't do much, because the casino is on tribal land. The tribe plans to open with pre-fab facilities in the spring.

Calls to tribal headquarters were not returned
