Church Break-ins

Pauls Valley, OK – Man accused of church break-ins, viewing porn

PAULS VALLEY, Okla. (AP) Police in Pauls Valley say they've arrested a man for breaking into area churches and using church computers to view pornography.

Nathanael Christian is also accused of running up $300 in phone calls to telephone sex services during one break-in.

The 21-year-old Christian is charged with four counts of second-degree burglary of Trinity Baptist Church, First Assembly of God, St. Catherine Catholic Church and First Church of God.

Police say Christian had never attended any of the churches and when asked why he targeted churches he said only that his family "has always been very religious."

He's currently being held in the Garvin County jail. Records did not indicate whether he has an attorney.
