Tulsa, OK – On today's show, we speak by phone with State Senator Mike Mazzei (R), who represents District 25 (which includes parts of South Tulsa, Bixby, and Broken Arrow). Mazzei is the Assistant Republican Floor Leader in the Oklahoma Senate; he's also chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, and is one of two co-chairmen leading a tax-reform task force that was created in the fall of last year. In this last respect, Mazzei has put forth proposals aimed at comprehensively restructuring the Oklahoma tax code --- including a proposal to eventually eliminate the state personal income tax. He defends his proposals on today's edition of StudioTulsa.
