Antlers, OK – Woman charged with murder in deadly Okla. shootout

ANTLERS, Okla. (AP) A Texas woman has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder after two suspected bank robbers she was with were shot to death by law officers near Antlers in southeast Oklahoma.

Online court records show Rachael Marie Spear of the Dallas area is charged in last Thursday's deaths of Jeremy Dysart of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Justin Whisenhunt of White Settlement, Texas.

The filing in Pushmataha County District Court says Dysart and Whisenhunt were killed when state Trooper Eric Blades opened fire. Matloff says Blades fired after the pickup truck the three were in stopped to avoid a police roadblock then drove toward Blades.

Authorities were chasing the truck after the robbery of a bank in Wright City.

The records do not show an attorney for Spear.
