Bartlesville, OK – Hearing reset for Okla woman charged in death

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) A court hearing has been delayed until Dec. 3 for a Bartlesville woman charged with felony child neglect in the death of her infant, who was found in a washing machine.

The court postponed Lyndsey Fiddler's hearing after learning she didn't have a court-appointed lawyer to represent her yet.

Fiddler was arrested after Bartlesville police found her 10-day-old daughter, Maggie Trammel, dead inside a washing machine Nov. 4. Investigators say Fiddler told them she put Maggie to bed in a bassinet and doesn't know how she got in the machine.

Court papers showed tests conducted on Fiddler detected methamphetamine in her system.

Washington County Assistant District Attorney Will Drake told KOTV Friday that prosecutors haven't ruled out anything in their investigation.
