Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa City Council votes to make over one-point-one million dollars in budget transfers. It does not end the furloughs for city employees or restore cuts to the fire department. Councilor Bill Christiansen says that needs to be done. Christiansen wants the council to consider such a proposal after the new year.
The council also approved a contract to privatize the operation of the Tulsa Zoo.
