CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) — Claremore police say a boy has died after he was struck by a train Sunday night.
Police say the incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. at a railroad crossing at Seventh Street and Missouri Avenue in Claremore.
Police described the victim as a juvenile boy but did not release his name or age. Police say the boy was taken to a Claremore hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say no one on the Union Pacific freight train was injured.
