Big H1N1 Tulsa Crowd
Tulsa, OK – The lines were long as over five-thousand people waited to get H1N1 flu vaccinations in Tulsa. The crowd yesterday gathered at the Exchange Center on the fairgrounds to get the vaccinations. This was the first time that anyone, over the age of six-months, could get the vaccine.
The Tulsa Health Department's Melanie Christian says they processed people through the line at a rate of 900-per hour. All together, 5,296 people were vaccinated yesterday.
Tomorrow (Friday) night at 8PM, we have an hour long special on the H1N1 virus in Oklahoma. Join Brad Gibson, Denise Brewer and John Durkee for this KWGS Special Documentary of the Week.
