Tulsa, Oklahoma – On this edition of The Best of StudioTulsa, we listen back to an interview from March with the British-born, New Jersey-raised journalist/author Helen Thorpe. This engaging interview is focused on Thorpe's then-recent book, "Just Like Us: The True Story of Four Mexican Girls Coming of Age." When we originally spoke with Thorpe, she was the First Lady of Denver --- since then, her husband, John Hickenlooper, has been elected Governor of Colorado, and so Thorpe will soon become that state's first lady.
