Baby's Death Suspicious

COMMERCE, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into the suspicious death of an 8-month-old boy.

OSBI officials say the Commerce Police Department requested their assistance in investigating the death of Randy Kirk the Third, whose mother found him and called for help around noon Friday. The baby was dead when emergency crews arrived.

OSBI agents and Commerce officers began searching the child's home for any evidence of what caused the child's death and agents plan to interview those inside the home when the baby died.

The medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
