Arrow Trucking Auction

By Tulsa World

Tulsa, OK – It took 61 years for executives and employees of Arrow Trucking Co. to marshal the expertise, capital and assets to transform a small Tulsa trucking company into a premier flatbed carrier.

In a little over eight hours Tuesday, much of the fruit of bankrupt Arrow Trucking Co.'s success was disbursed at public auction for pennies on the dollar.

"There have been a few surprises," said Ed Vierheller, owner of Mr. Ed's Auction Co. of Catoosa, which is conducting the two-day auction of Arrow's personal property, "but basically everything has gone for about what I expected.

"The buyers are mostly dealers. There's nobody going into business."

The Arrow auction will continue at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Arrow's maintenance facility at 4241 S. Elwood Ave. in west Tulsa. Items scheduled to be auctioned include cars, pickups, tractor trucks, forklifts, shop equipment, chains, truck parts and other machinery.

Details are available on Mr. Ed's website at tulsaworld.com/mredsauction.
