Broken Arrow, OK – On April 16th, Broken Arrow Police Officers arrested Douglas Harold Polk, Jr. on a complaint of first degree rape, domestic assault and battery and violation of a protective order. Police were called to investigate a case of lewd molestation.

One of the investigators who interviewed Polk on these complaints was the lead detective in the Abduction/Rape of a five year-old Broken Arrow girl in September of 2007. Over the course of several interviews, Polk provided information related to the '07 case that only the perpetrator could have would known.

Police Major Carole Newel said "we are confident that Polk is the man responsible for the abduction and rape of the young girl known as the Broken Arrow Angel'.

The girl was found about eight miles from her home, nude and bleeding from the assault. It will be up to the district attorney's office to file charges in the case.
