Pawhuska, OK – More than 80 animals seized from Okla woman's home

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) Officials have seized 81 cats and dogs from an Osage County woman's home.

Bartlesville animal control officer Rita Harvey told the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise (http://bit.ly/pfKnGI ) that she helped raid a residence in conjunction with the Osage County Sheriff's office.

Harvey says officials had received a report of a woman who had 45 to 50 cats in cages inside the house. She says during Tuesday's search, authorities found cats and dogs that hadn't had any water and some were suffering from upper respiratory infections.

Harvey says they also discovered three horses that had minor problems with their hooves.

The woman wasn't arrested and her name wasn't released.
