Allegations of Stalking in the Mayor's Race

KWGS News File Photo

Tulsa Police confirm they have talked to a 23-year-old man with the Taylor Campaign who was apparently stalking Mayor Bartlett.

Police questioned the man after Bartlett’s neighbors reported a car and driver had been parked down the street from the Mayor’s house. Neighbors say the car had been parked there off-and-on for several days.

The man told police he was gathering information of Bartlett’s movements for the Taylor campaign. Kathy Taylor issued a statement apologizing to the neighbors. The man is still working for the campaign. Taylor say no laws were broken.

Mayor Bartlett issued a statement saying Taylor crossed the line and that this is not normal in any political campaign.
