Oklahoma City, OK – Estimated 100 airmen to return to Tinker AFB

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Officials at Tinker Air Force Base are preparing to welcome home about 100 airmen from a four-month deployment to Southwest Asia.

The base said in a news release that the airmen with the 552nd Air Control Wing are to arrive at the base about 11:15 a.m. Monday.

The airmen provided air support to troops in Afghanistan including 130 attack missions, helped provide air support to troops in combat and directing aerial refueling missions.
