AG Issues Warning with Thunder Tickets

Thunder is among us. NBA Finals are here and so are risks of ticket scams. Fans need to be aware of how they are purchasing their tickets. It can be very hard to tell the difference between a fake ticket and a real one especially, if you purchase a printout ticket. Buyers generally don’t know they have a fake ticket until entry time.

When the Attorney General Office’s Communications Director Diane Clay was asked if fake sellers tend to disguise themselves as being affiliated with a company, she says the sellers will use charities. “They will try to use a name that sounds similar to a charity. If unsure of charity, fans can call the Attorney General’s office or Thunder office to see if the purchase from the charity or website is safe.”
