GROVE, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says four people from Grove were killed in two separate traffic crashes Tuesday night in northeastern Oklahoma.

The highway patrol says the first crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on State Highway 2 near Welch in Craig County. A preliminary report says 77-year-old Donald Charles Kelley and his wife, 76-year-old Nancy Kelley, died when their vehicle went off the road and overturned twice.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.

The second accident happened shortly before 8 p.m. on a county road near Grove. The highway patrol says a pickup truck drove off the road and crashed into a tree. The crash killed a passenger, 23-year-old Kayla Hull, and a 2-year-old boy, Kane Hull. Authorities say no seat belts or child restraints were in use.
