TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A newly unsealed federal indictment accuses four former BizJet International Sales and Support Inc. executives of engaging in a bribery scheme to generate aircraft maintenance business in Latin America.
The Justice Department said Friday that two of the accused, Peter DuBois and Neal Uhl, pleaded guilty in January to corruption counts. The guilty pleas were unsealed Friday as U.S. District Judge Gregory Frizzell sentenced DuBois and Uhl to probation.
Former BizJet CEO Bernd Kowalewski and ex-sales manager Jald Jensen are charged with conspiring to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and conspiracy to launder money. They're also charged with violating the act and money laundering.
Officials say Kowalewski and Jensen are at large and believed to be out of the country. BizJet is based in Tulsa.
