file photo

Traffic is flowing again along Interstate-44 in Tulsa. The roadway was shut down at Peoria this morning following an accident involving two tractor trailer rigs.

The Tulsa Fire Department’s Hazardous Materials unit had to respond to the scene to aid in the clean-up.  The roadway was closed for almost three hours.

The wreck happened in the construction zone. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says no one was injured in the ordeal.
