Tulsa, OK – State's 2 senators endorse Bartlett in Tulsa race
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma's two U.S. senators, who are both Republicans, have endorsed the GOP candidate in the upcoming Tulsa mayoral race.
Sens. Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn both issued prepared statements Saturday in support of Dewey Bartlett Jr., who is on the Nov. 10 ballot opposite Democrat Tom Adelson and independents Mark Perkins and Lawrence Kirkpatrick.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa police say a teenager was critically wounded and later died after being shot as he exited a school bus on the city's north side.
Police say the 16-year-old was shot in the head, back and neck about 4:45 p.m. as he exited the bus. A spokeswoman for Emergency Medical Services Authority says the teen was transported to St. John Medical Center in critical condition. Police confirm the teen died Friday evening.
Tulsa, OK – The City of Tulsa has a brand new hangar at the Tulsa International Airport. The hangar will be leased to American Airlines and used by the AA maintenance department.
The hangar is 81,000 square feet and large enough for the airline to park some of its largest jets for repair work. American is the only U.S. airline performing its own heavy maintenance and its largest base is in Tulsa.
Tulsa, OK – In an effort to lessen problems for residents of neighborhoods near Expo Square and ensure that streets remain clear and passable for emergency vehicles, Tulsa Police and Working In Neighborhoods personnel will patrol streets near Expo Square throughout the 11-day Tulsa State Fair, Oct. 1 through Oct. 11, to enforce parking and zoning ordinances and nuisance codes.
