Tulsa, Oklahoma – A major accident this morning snarled traffic for 8-hours. A semi- carrying a load of frozen chickens, hit the I-44 bridge as it crossed over Yale. The Oklahoma Department of transportation kept the area closed until engineers could inspect the bridge, and clean up the chickens. The driver of the truck escaped safely and no one was hurt.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – A federal study shows Oklahomans had the fifth highest percentage of residents who lack consistent access to nutritious and well-balanced meals during the past three years.
The study released Monday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service shows 15.2 percent of Oklahoma households were "food insecure" from 2007 to 2009. The percentage is up from 14.6 percent for the three-year period from 2004 to 2006.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma's two U.S. senators, Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn, are both Republicans, but find themselves split over a proposed moratorium on earmarks for spending federal money on specific projects.
Broken Arrow, OK – Authorities say a Broken Arrow man has died after falling from a moving train in Catoosa on Saturday. Fire Chief Dennis Benton says 30-year-old Dustin Lewis probably "hitched a ride" on the train. He says it appears Lewis fell off, got caught underneath the train and was dragged for an unknown distance.
Oklahoma City, OK – Police have released a sketch of a man who posed as an Oklahoma Natural Gas worker when he robbed a woman in her northwest Oklahoma City home. The man wore an ONG hard hat when he knocked on the door of a house in the 4000 block of NW 62 about 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, police said.
After claiming to work for the gas company, the man asked a woman in the home if he could get in the backyard. He asked if the woman had any dogs, and she told him she did not, police said.
Fort Smith, Ark – Ft. Smith police arrest Vian, Okla., ass't chief
FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) Police say a disturbance at a country-music nightclub in Fort Smith has resulted in the arrest of the assistant police chief of Vian (vy-ANN'), Okla., on misdemeanor assault and public intoxication charges.
A Sebastian County Jail official said Brian K. Chandler of the Vian Police Department was booked into the jail early Saturday morning after his arrest at the Electric Cowboy nightclub. He was released on bond later in the day.
Tulsa, OK – TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa's school board is considering a proposal that could lead to consolidation within the district. Superintendent Keith Ballard says the goal of "Project Schoolhouse" is to determine how the district can more efficiently use its money and facilities. He says the issue has to be dealt with because of the district's shrinking financial resources.
